Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions

1. Our inflatables are intended for children under 12 years old and weighing up to 65kg (except for our adult castles). ELLIOTTS CASTLES LTD is not liable for any injuries unless caused by faulty equipment.

2. Customers must plug our equipment into a standard household wall socket. The use of extension leads without approval may void liability in case of accidents or damage. Any damage will be charged for.

3. No food, drinks, chewing gum, face paints, party poppers, streamers, glitter, confetti, or silly string allowed on or near the inflatables. Shoes, glasses, jewelry, and badges must be removed. A £100 cleaning charge applies for non-compliance and any resulting damage will be billed.

4. No sticking or attaching anything to the inflatables, including balloons, as this may damage them. Replacement costs will be charged for non-compliance.

5. Hirers must ensure our inflatables fit the intended space as stated on our website. Failure to fit in the venue or garden doesn't exempt hirers from payment.

6. ELLIOTTS CASTLES LTD is not responsible for damage caused to pipes or cables when hammering anchor stakes. Customers should inspect the area beforehand. Our stakes are 380mm and hammered in at a 45-degree angle.

7. Hirers must return all balls to ball pools and all footballs for collection. Failure to do so may result in charges or forfeit of the ball deposit.

8. Sub-hiring our equipment is strictly prohibited. The hirer is liable for the full cost of replacement if any equipment goes missing.

9. Smoking and barbecues are not allowed near the inflatables.

10. Climbing, hanging, and sitting on the walls of the inflatables is strictly prohibited for safety purposes, especially on hard surfaces.

11. Each inflatable must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

12. Limit the number of users according to age, size, and recommended guidelines, avoiding mixed age groups.

13. Ensure that children do not engage in aggressive or unsafe behavior.

14. Allow sufficient time for setup and pack down. Allocate at least 30 minutes before and after the scheduled booking. For larger items or flexible timetables, allow 45 minutes for 3 items and 60 minutes for 4 items.

15. No one should be on or near the inflatable during inflation or deflation. Switch off the fan at the mains for safety and do not leave an unattended inflatable until fully deflated.

16. Do not bounce on the front safety step. It is for entering and exiting only.

17. Individuals with specific health conditions should not use the inflatables. In the event of an injury, call emergency services immediately.

18. Dress appropriately and wear socks at all times. Consider long sleeves on slides to prevent friction burns.

19. Ensure a clear area around the inflatable for setup, free from hazards.

21. Outdoor collections usually start at 5pm unless otherwise agreed.

23. In the event of continuous or heavy rain, please keep the inflatable switched on to prevent the base from filling with water. Once the rain has stopped, if any bubbling occurs through the seams, this is normal and can be left to dry naturally or dabbed with a towel. The inflatable must remain inflated throughout your event. If you switch it off during rain, there will be a charge of £100 to dry the inflatable immediately.

24. For overnight hires, please ensure that the inflatable is switched on at least 2 hours before our arrival to allow it to dry out from rain or any temperature changes. Failure to do so may result in a £100 charge for drying out the inflatable.

25. We are unable to set up a bouncy castle if wind speeds exceed 24mph, including gust speeds. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel your booking, and any deposits will be transferred to another date.

26. Once we have set up the inflatable, please do not move it or interfere with the anchor points. If any anchor stakes become dislodged, please contact us immediately. Moving or interfering with the setup will render you liable under your own insurance, and we will not accept responsibility for any accidents that may occur.

27. In the event that the fan stops working, please ensure that all users immediately exit the inflatable to avoid suffocation. Common issues that may cause the fan to stop include tipping over or air vents becoming blocked. If an obstruction is present, please remove it. If the problem persists, please contact us immediately.
